Hurricane Nolo Preparedness Update

Tom Shinsato Realty is actively monitoring Hurricane Nolo and preparing our response teams for potential weather-related impacts across the islands.

While forecasts may continue to evolve, we encourage all of our clients & tenants to prepare now and stay informed through official state and county emergency management agencies.

How you can prepare

We encourage everyone to:

• Charge mobile phones, tablets, backup batteries, and other essential devices.
• Gather important supplies, including food, water, medications, flashlights, and batteries.
• Save important contact information and emergency numbers.
• Review backup power options and emergency plans for landline, internet, or wireless-connected medical, security, or monitoring devices.

Safety Reminder

After severe weather, debris, fallen trees, and damaged infrastructure can create dangerous conditions.

Please do not attempt to remove trees, branches, or debris that may be touching or near power lines, utility equipment, or communication facilities. Damage may not always be visible, and energized equipment can present serious safety hazard.

In addition, stay clear from downed power lines and damaged infrastructures and report hazardous conditions to the appropriate utility provider or emergency officials.

As with any major weather event, restoration efforts may depend on access, conditions, and the availability of commercial power. Tom Shinsato Realty works closely with utility providers and government agencies to support safe and efficient response activities when conditions allow.
